Instruction
All instruction is based on the practical, technical experience and formal training of swing plane mechanics taught through the Hank Haney Certified method. At Hank Haney Golf, our instructors train amateurs and professionals alike in these proven fundamentals that have made Hank one of the game's top teachers. The main reasons Hank Haney chose The Lakes at Castle Hills as the Headquarters for his golf schools are because of the facility layout and amenities. The Hank Haney Golf Academy at The Lakes at Castle Hills occupies over 125 acres of rolling landscape that includes an enormous 58 acre golf practice range, 12,000 square foot Mini Verde putting green, 10,000 square foot chipping, pitching, bunker practice green and a 10 station covered hitting area. You will always be able to train regardless of the weather conditions. In addition, The Academy features a Jay Morrish design 3-hole practice course (3, 4, 5 par) with three pin placements on each green.

Online Skills Coach motion analysis video software makes it easy to film, view, analyze and send videos to your coach. As part of your school, you will receive an Online Skills Coach account that will enable you to easily send and store your coached videos taken during and after your school.

Full Swing Golf swing simulator allows your swing coach to determine how far you hit each club as well as the yardage gaps between clubs, measure ball speed, club head speed, face angle at impact and use this data to create the proper swing motion for you.

Cool Clubs fitting center provides you with all the latest major Brand golf clubs to test and determine the best fit for your game as well as utilize the game’s finest fitting systems to custom fit golfers of all abilities. The Lakes at Castle Hills is a full-service country club featuring a Jay Morrish designed 18-hole championship course, the world headquarters of Hank Haney Golf Schools and home to the Bright Realty Texas State Open. Honored to be selected as the host course for the Bright Realty Texas State Open held August 2012. Founded in 1960 The Texas State Open past champions include Texas Golf Legends, Ben Crenshaw, Lee Trevino and Jeff Maggert.

You'll enjoy lunch on the patio with a picturesque backdrop of fairways, greens, and the beautiful Texas landscape. The culinary staff developed an exquisite menu equaled by world-class service and warm hospitality. Our restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. The panoramic fairway views and relaxed atmosphere of Harvey's Bar & Grill is a great way to end your golf school or 18 holes of championship golf.

Golf Course
The Lakes at Castle Hills stunning rolling terrain, hardwood trees, natural streams, large lakes and wetland areas of native grasses and wildflowers creates a natural habitat environment. Rather than alter the landscape to accommodate the golf course, each hole was carefully designed to take full advantage of the site’s natural topography accentuating the streams, lakes and 60-ft. elevation changes. Whether playing from the Turret Tees or the Forward Tees, this course requires as much precision as it does power, as the closer you play to the fairway hazards, the better your angle to the green. For the highest level of play year-round, The Lakes at Castle at Hills features Mini Verde greens and 419 Bermuda grass fairways and roughs. Designed to be both stimulating and spectacular, the 18-hole championship course challenges the tour caliber player while providing an enjoyable experience for the average golfer. It is a course that all levels of golfers can enjoy, remember and want to play time and time again. The property has one of the largest practice facilities, stretching 510 yards from end to end, occupying 48 acres, with over 200,000 square feet of practice tee space.
